Don’t Wait until it is too late!

Seniors Month is a timely reminder that you should spend more time with your elders.  Not just spending time with them, but also talking to them and asking them questions.  Any problems that you are currently having, they might have been through the same problems and have some advice on how to fix those problems.

There is an old saying that if you don’t learn from history you are doomed to repeat it.  Your elders have lived their lives and you can learn from their mistakes and hope not to make the same ones yourself.

Spoiler Alert, my Friday Quote this week is “When the elderly die, a library is lost and volumes of wisdom and knowledge are gone.”

What this all means is that we should speak more to our elders.  We should ask them questions.  We should record their responses for prosperity.  We should make sure that they write down those recipes that you love, so that you can try and make them while they can help you.

We have great resources at our disposal and most of the time we try to figure it out ourselves, and ignore people who are eager and willing to help us as they do not like to see us struggle.

As the title says, do not wait until it is too late and you are looking at photos of people who you do not recognise, when you could have asked someone who knows and written on the back of the photo!
