It is a cliché, but the find something you love and you will never work another day in your life, is a thing.

So what does this mean for graduates, find the subject, activity, hobby or passion that does not feel like a chore or work and turn that into a career.

Not all jobs come from subjects at school.

You are not limited in ways to earn a living.

There are jobs that exist now that did not exist 5, 10, 20 50 years ago.

Just like there will be jobs now that do not exist in 5, 10, 20 or 50 years into the future.

Don’t be scared to try new things.

Priorities and interests change over time and you can always make a change down the track.  You are not locked into anything.

Do not chase a job because it pays well.

Yes, that job will allow you to do things with the money, but if your heart isn’t into it, you are not going to enjoy your life as much as you can.

Also, I would recommend that you travel.

Forgo that new car, new pair of sunglasses, borrow someone else’s Netflix login and save your money and travel the world.

Travel will open your eyes to new experiences.

You can always make more money, but you can’t always make new memories.

You never know, you might find that passion that will turn into a career.
