Lockyer Valley Mid Year Report Card

The REIQ have presented a Mid Year Report Card for what has been happening in the property market.

I will summarise some key figures for areas around the Lockyer Valley, not all areas have complete figures.

Gatton – Has a median estimated house value of $420,000.  This is a 2.9% increase in the last 6 months, a 46.9% increase over the last 3 years.  There are 25 potential buyers per listing and properties are on the market for about 45 days.

Forest Hill - Has a median estimated house value of $493,000.  This is a 10.8% increase in the last 6 months.  There are 83 potential buyers per listing and properties are on the market for about 85 days.

Laidley - Has a median estimated house value of $386,000.  This is a 4.1% increase in the last 6 months, a 57.7% increase over the last 3 years.  There are 35 potential buyers per listing and properties are on the market for about 21 days.

Plainland - Has a median estimated house value of $593,000.  This is a 3.1% increase in the last 6 months, a 62.7% increase over the last 3 years.  There are 57 potential buyers per listing and properties are on the market for about 41 days.

Kensington Grove - Has a median estimated house value of $688,000.  This is a 4.9% increase in the last 6 months, a 69.9% increase over the last 3 years.  There are 78 potential buyers per listing and properties are on the market for about 36 days.

Despite the rate rises it appears that areas around the Lockyer Valley are still performing strongly.
