Time for Reflection

The great John Lennon once wrote that life is what happens while your busy making other plans.

This year has been no exception.

Lockyer Property Sales celebrated its first birthday.  We continue to grind away to get listings and convert them into sales.  We are heading in the right direction and hopefully will continue to do so.  We were lucky enough to add a new ute to the Lockyer Property Sales family.

We bought and sold a house, even though we had no intention of doing either.  I think that the right decision was made in the end, even though the process was far from straightforward and was a learning process in itself.

We had a daycare emergency and had to change plans and daycare for a while.  It was extremely stressful at the time but now it is sorted and we are back into our routine.

We are now parents to a 4 and a 2 year old.  The children continue to grow and their personalities continue to expand.  We are about to go into our second year of kindy with a full kindy week, after kindy 2-3 days per week this year.

We have also made our first foray into the addictive world of Christmas lights.  I think that we have finished for this year (said for about the 10^th time) and hopefully we can expand and improve on our initial efforts next year.

While this year has been challenging and I am sure that next year will continue to have their challenges, I would like to thank everyone who has supported the business and our family this year.
