Where does the Lockyer Valley rank?

The Courier Mail on Saturday 7 October 2023 set out a list of the top 20 Growth Stars, Brisbane Region Homes.

Out of the top 8 listed there are 6 regions from the Lockyer Valley:

1. Kensington Grove
2. Plainland
3. Laidley
4. Hatton Vale
5. Laidley Heights
6. Regency Downs

Is this because these regions where hidden gems that no one knew about?

Were these regions undervalued to begin with and are now reaching their potential?

Are city people looking for their tree change?

In the neighbouring Somerset Region, Lowood and Fernvale are also on the list with Lowood coming in at number 1.

This is a strong showing for the Lockyer Valley and Somerset regions.

We have always know the value of living in the area and now it seems that everyone else is finding it out!
