Realestate.com released figures on 13 November 2024 stating how much demand there is your area.
This is how much demand there is around the Lockyer Valley:
- Gatton – 23.9% increase in views per listing compared to last year, $495,000 median house price, increase of 65.8% in median house price over last 5 years;
- Laidley - 28% increase in views per listing compared to last year, $494,000 median house price, increase of 105.6% in median house price over last 5 years;
- Forest Hill – 0.1% decrease in views per listing compared to last year, $687,000 median house price, increase of 226.1% in median house price over last 5 years;
- Plainland – 33.2% increase in views per listing compared to last year, $700,000 median house price, increase of 97.9% in median house price over last 5 years;
- Kensington Grove – 12.3% increase in views per listing compared to last year, $755,000 median house price, increase of 64.1% in median house price over last 5 years;
- Glenore Grove – 20.% decrease in views per listing compared to last year, $770,000 median house price, increase of 136.8% in median house price over last 5 years;
- Withcott – 0.8% decrease in views per listing compared to last year, $828,000 median house price, increase of 81.5% in median house price over last 5 years;
Not all areas had figures available, however, what these figures seem to suggest is that there are some areas that in recent years that had great growth and now their interest is decreasing.
There are still some areas showing increase in interest and that might correlate with the median house prices still on the rise.
The one statistic that sticks out is that there has been solid increases in median house prices over the last 5 years across the region with Forest Hill being the star performer!
