To all the parents over the School holidays

I am starting to feel sympathy for all the parents of school aged children.  Our oldest child is starting Prep next year and our youngest child’s daycare centre has been closed due to sewerage flooding.

That means that we have had and will continue to have an extended school holiday period.

When you are working parents it takes a toll on the family and the help of the village and the patience of clients can ease the pressures.

These times can include trips to shopping centres, the park, the pool and anywhere to get the kids out the house and to expend some energy.

For our family it also means that there are two very excitable girls who have birthday adventures one day apart.  This week is the week and for the next two days our girls are having big adventures, which hopefully they will appreciate.

So to all the other parents of school aged children who are home for the holidays, good luck and I hope it all goes as well as it can!

And don’t forget the Christmas shopping!
